Hotel Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Refurbishment Program starting from March 01st 2018

The hotel launches a major renovation program as of 1 March 2018. During renovations, the resort will remain open. No end date of work for now. 1st phase - From March 01st to July 31st, 2018 *Renovations of restaurant Latitude 16 *Renovations of existing Overwater categories (Superior Lagoon Front bungalows (renamed Overwater bungalows from April 01st, 2018) and Luxury Overwater bungalows (renamed Superior Overwater from April 01st, 2018)) will be closed from March 01st,2018 to July 31st, 2018. Re-opening on August 01st, 2018. *Construction of additional Overwater bungalows. 18 units will be built near the existing Overwater bungalows. More details to come soon. During this period, the rest of the hotel facilities and other room categories (Superior Garden and Superior Beach bungalows) will operate as usual. For meals, guests will have 3 possible options:

• The Hurricane bar and its terrace by the pool

• The "La Suite" air-conditioned space near the reception will be transformed into an ephemeral restaurant

• Manu Tuki restaurant at Sofitel Private Island (on reservation only, free roundtrip boat shuttle).

2nd phase - From August 01st, 2018 *Re-opening of restaurant Latitude 16 *Re-opening of renovated Overwater bungalows *Additional Overwater units gradually opened from October 01st, 2018 3rd phase - From August 01st, 2018 to Febuary 28th 2019 *Beach and Garden categories closed for renovations. *The beach of the hotel will be accessible during this period.

Hotel Hibiscus Moorea Renovation of the restaurant Sunset from November 17th to December 20th 2017

The hotel restaurant Sunset will be undergoing renovation work from November 17th to December 20th, 2017 included. Reopening is scheduled on December 21st, 2017. Works will run between 08h00 and 16h00 from Monday to Saturday. The bar and the counter where breakfasts are served will be entirely destroyed and rebuilt. During this period, all guests shall be relocated on the opposite side of this area. The kitchen will stay operational for breakfasts that will be exceptionally delivered in room from 07h00 to 10h00. Order by the guests shall be placed before 16h00 the day before. For guests booked on half or full board, meals will be taken at Hotel InterContinental Moorea Resort & Spa - 4* (2-course lunch and 3-course dinner, drinks excluded to be paid on site). A free shuttle service will be scheduled for lunches between 12h and 14h30 and for dinner between 18h30 and 21h30. For guests with breakfast formulas booked during their stay, there are 9 restaurants/food trucks in the area and 3 grocery shops. No additional compensation provided. We remain at your disposal for any complementary information.

Wi-Fi is now available free of charge throughout the Resort, including the bungalows! A quick word about other improvements by the Pearl Resort of Tahiti group: Still on Tahaa, renovation work has given the terrace of the main restaurant Vanille a makeover, among others. On Tahiti, general renovation is making good progress: building 3 has been completely renovated. Building 2 is under way - the rooms are beautiful and brighter. There is no problem of noise disturbance during these interior works. The Resort should be entirely renovated by February 2018. On Bora Bora, the hotel continues to improve the quality of F&B, which has made a real leap forward this year. In the Marquesas, the Keikahanui Pearl Lodge will be closed from January 8 to February 1, 2018 for renovations. View the latest photos of the group here!

...Resorts Applicable to all new bookings Hotel Vahine Island, Tahaa Due to repeated flight delays, the Vahine Island is toughening its airport/hotel transfer Policy and applies from now on these new conditions: *Flight arrivals between 7.30am & 5pm (instead of 5.30pm) *Departures between 9am (instead of 8am) & 6.30pm Caution! In case of a flight late arrival, the hotel will help the customers look for an accommodation in Raiatea butthe supplement charges which will be generated, in addition to the unused night at the hotel, will be at the customers’ charge. Hotel Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa In the In Room Romantic Touches list, - The Champagne Canoe Breakfast is deleted - The bottles of Champagne rates proposed are rising (+25 to 40%) Hotel Tahiti Airport Motel For operational reasons, guests are not allowed to stay in the hall of the hotel after check-out later than 12h00pm. Transfer to the airport will be organized consequently unless a late check-out has been booked. As a reminder, Carpark is not accessible to big coaches and mini buses for practical reasons. Only private car can enter the property. Customers being transfered in big coaches will get dropped off down the entry of the hotel.

The applicable rate for both the Extension Marquesas AND the Pass Bora Bora is the Low Season rate Avis Rental Car -Tahiti & Moorea Several changes to be noted in Avis fleet in Tahiti & Moorea: - The E & J categories are deleted -Category D : The old Citroen are giving way to the Dacia Duster (5 PAX, Manual, A/C) -New category I: an automatic BYD cross over for 5-7 PAX, A/C Furthermore, in Moorea, the compulsory supplement for the rentals of less than 5 days is now applicable for the I, K, L & V categories. A major project materialized during the 41st session of the World Heritage Committee held last month in Krakow, Poland. An historic event for the Fenua, the opportunity for Polynesian culture to be recognized around the world. It may not be the most spectacular, yet the vast Marae Taputapuatea on Raiatea is one of the most important marae in French Polynesia, both in terms of its symbol and its international importance. This site, the central point of the Polynesian triangle and dedicated to the war god Oro, lies at the heart of the mythology and ancient religion of eastern Polynesia.
