Renovation Update

Renovation works are moving forward as planned! The four Brando Suites Bora Bora are now fully covered. Interior work are scheduled until November: electricity, plumbing, painting, and furnishings, with approximately zero noise level. Opening for these units is maintained for 01 December 2017. The renovation of the Pool Villas and Premium Pool Villas is also proceeding on time. The ten pools have all been built, and are now opened.

Please note that following a delay in the renovation works, the Royal Polynesia chain, which initially planned a soft opening for Hotel Royal Bora Bora 3* by 01 November 2017, is now compelled to push back its opening to 01 April 2018. Affected bookings are being processed, our booking agents will get back to you with relocation solutions. As a reminder, the hotel will feature 80 rooms, with a few communicating, ideal for families, a seaside restaurant, a swimming pool, 2 bars, a shop, a banquet hall...and just like the other hotels of the chain, the Polynesian lifestyle is first and foremost with its typical cuisine and local activities.

New bungalow, "Traditional Fare"

A new unit with a typically Polynesian architecture, the Traditional Fare, with its genuine pandanus roof is essentially made of exotic woods. Equipped with the same comfort level as the other categories, including air conditioning, it will definitely charm honeymooners with its terrace overlooking the beach, and its superb view of the lagoon. It should be noted that for safety reasons, children and babies are not allowed in this unit. For its launch, this year the Traditional Fare is offered at the same rate as the Deluxe Beach Bungalow.

Open since mid-June, just a stone's throw from the hotel, on the edge of the lagoon, the Blue Beach Lodge offers guests a choice of grilled food, salads, and cold dishes, with their toes in the sand. A superb view of the motu Miri Miri and the island of Bora Bora, cocktails, swimming, and snorkeling... A charming and friendly place for a moment, or for a day of relaxation! Note that, as a consequence, the gourmet restaurant at the Raiatea Lodge is now only open for dinner.

Nariiorono, a native of the island, will share with you his passions, such as dancing or wood sculpting. Nathalie, his wife, will prepare delicious little dishes for you, a mix of European and local cuisine. Recently renovated, the main house features 5 rooms with private bathroom, fan, mosquito net, and terrace. Common-room with dining area and television lounge, board games, and free WiFi. Several paid activities are available with departure from the pension: tours of the island, hikes, day on a motu with picnic.

Air Tahiti - Luggage Allowance

The luggage allowance on Air Tahiti domestic flights is different from the allowance on international flights. Thus, in order to prevent any disputes or dissatisfaction from visitors, it is important to inform beforehand all travelers of the authorized luggage allowance: Booking in Y Class: 23kg per person + 1 carry-on bag (max 5 kg & 45x35x20cm) Booking in Z Class: 46kg per person + 1 carry-on bag (max 5 kg & 45x35x20cm) Surcharge for excess luggage to be paid directly at the check-in counter. Passengers with more than 10 kg excess luggage must check in at least 90 minutes before departure. Maximum weight per item: 25kg. Maximum length surfboard: 1.80m.
