Public Holidays in Asian Trails Destinations this August

Dear friends and business partners August tends to be a quiet month in our destinations with only a few public holidays marked on our calendars. For Thailand, August is an important month with the celebration of the birthday of H.M. The Queen of Thailand and Mother's Day. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has been a leading example for the nation in supporting numerous projects for the betterment of Her subjects. Although the birthday of Her Majesty is officially on 12 August, offices will be closed on Monday 14 August as compensation. Indonesia and Malaysia are celebrating their independence on 17 and 31 August respectively, commemorating being independent nations. Expect parades, festivals and fun-filled activities on these days.
