This important notification is to inform our travel partners of special exception policies available for our mutual customers due to the expected impact of severe storms to the Northeast region.

Our travel notice exception policies on American are also available when ticketed to/from/through on our Joint business partners. This applies to both prime and codeshare flights as shown below:

Special Travel Exceptions Considerations

Affected Airports:

BWI, ABE, AVP, BDL, CAK, DCA, EWR, HPN, HVN, IAD, IPT, ISP, JFK, LGA, MDT, PHL, PIT, SBY, SCE, SWF

Tickets Issued On/Before:

July 26, 2017

Impacted Travel Dates:

July 28 – 29, 2017

New Travel Dates:

July 26 – 31, 2017

Reissuance of Tickets On/Before

Same day changes are made

Inventory Requirements:

Lowest Inventory – Same Cabin

Exception – tickets issued as Basic Economy fares must be booked in “B” inventory only

Waiver Code and Endorsement Box Requirements:

TNADV2/SEVERE NE STORMS

JULY

Waiver Code and the Event name is the only required verbiage in the Endorsement Box and supersedes all other information

Cuba SSR: RFTV Reason Code Requirement

If Applicable

RFTV SSR must be reentered in the PNR for the new itinerary when travel includes Cuba

Changes to Origin/Destination:

Not allowed

Exception: 300- Mile Radius allowed
