Dear Partner, We are sorry to inform you that the firefighters’ strike movement which has been affecting our airports ‘operations since Monday, May 15th is still going on. Unfortunately, the minimum flights services to the islands of Huahine, Nuku Hiva, Hiva Oa, Tikehau, Anaa, Raroia and Hikueru expected today Thursday, May 18th didn’t operate due to failure of negotiations between the Authorities and the strikers. Therefore, the expected situation for tomorrow Friday 19th May will remain the same: only the airports of Tahiti, Bora Bora, Raiatea and Rangiroa will still operate but the flights’ schedules will be somehow affected. In regards to our mutual clients scheduled on flights to/from the island of Moorea, please note that as the airport of Moorea is closed, the routings will be re-arranged as per below:

• For clients booked on flights from Papeete to Moorea or from Moorea to Papeete, transportations will be re-arranged by ferry. Clients will have to pay on spot their ferry tickets

• For clients booked on flights from Moorea to Bora Bora or Raiatea, transportations will be re-arranged as follow: Ferry from Moorea to Papeete + Flight from Papeete to Bora Bora or Raiatea. Clients will have to pay on spot their ferry tickets but we are offering the transfer from Papeete pier to Papeete domestic airport

• For clients booked on flights from Bora Bora or Raiatea to Papeete, transportations will be re-arranged as follow: Flight from Bora Bora or Raiatea to Papeete + Ferry from Papeete to Moorea. Clients will have to pay on spot their ferry tickets but we are offering the transfer from Papeete domestic airport to Papeete pier

Please note:

• In the case clients have not started their trip: in case of complete cancellation of the domestic flights booked until 24th May , the tickets will be refunded in full

• In the case clients have booked an airpass, there will not be any refund on non-utilized coupon(s), even if caused by the strike. As an example: A client has booked a Bora Bora airpass for the route Papeete/Moorea/Bora Bora/Papeete. Client’s transportation has been modified as follow: Papeete/Moorea by ferry + Moorea/Papeete by ferry + Flight Papeete/Bora Bora + Flight Bora Bora/Papeete, there will not be any refund on the Papeete/Moorea flight.
