Sydney 8th May 2017 Dear Valued Client, We wish to inform you that Holiday Inn Old Sydney will continue its product improvement project between June and August 2017. Our beautiful heritage listed building is a part of the historic Rocks precinct which is currently undergoing various heritage works. Our painting works are related to our heritage façade of the hotel building, which is the continuation of last years’ project and does not have any impact to our guests. The replacement of roof tiles will commence mid-June which we do not foresee to have any impact on our guests. However, we anticipate that the outdoor swimming pool will be closed for the month of August. Since this is Sydney’s coldest winter month, it is rarely used during this time. Access to an area of the roof top will remain to take pictures and admire our views over Sydney Harbour and the Sydney CBD. The hotel does not anticipate that there will be any major guest or operational disruptions during these projects as they will be conducted during business hours and will be confined to unoccupied areas. As the largest tenant and accommodation provider in the Rocks precinct, our hotel owners and IHG are committed to continuing to deliver a great Holiday Inn product. Over the past three years and at significant expense, the hotel has completed a further sixty capital projects of various scales all of which have continued to enhance the guest journey. The team and I look forward to sharing these exciting new improvements to our hotel with you and your clients. Thank you once again for your ongoing support, if you have any further questions please feel free to contact myself or Jenny Quinn ( Business Development Director) on 02 9255 1851 or jenny.quinn@ihg.com
